Since those files are larger, if I put those on my phone in place of mp3's I would have less music on it since those all of those lossless files take up more space than the phone has (256gb). I chose to go the quality route using Apple Lossless files on an SSD which works fine for me.
#Show album artwork itunes 13 plus
as some of those functions can cause more issues.ĬarPlay does show album art so if you're not seeing it, it might be that the iPod Touch is not supported as I think only iPhones are so I would look into that as I have tried it with an iPhone 7 Plus and the art showed up. I don't use Music Match or whatever it's called to find art etc. I don't download music and all mine is ripped from CD's or digitized records/tapes so I've always done the art embedding myself. If missing, then use iTunes or another music management program to fix. Step 4 Sit back and relax, iTunes will automatically start looking for and retrieving missing album artwork. Step 3 Now right click, and from the dropdown menu select Get Album Artwork. I'm still on Catalina (but this works on older Mac OS) so another way to see if those files are there is to open the folder of the album and each song should show the thumbnail in the Finder. Step 2 Select all of your audio files by either holding Shift key while you click each file individually or by using Ctrl+A. While it may show in album view in iTunes, some files within that album could be missing and not embedded. If you have a lot of files, this may be tedious but at least you know what's missing.

With all of your files in iTunes, you can check one at a time to see if the image displays in the window at the bottom or at the top in newer versions.

Click to expand.I don't know how you're checking for the artwork but I use iTunes for Mac (mostly an old version 10.7 which still had CoverFlow) but newer versions will also work.
